The "Bubble"
Stella's Aunt Peggy gave her the most adorable handmade smocked "bubble" for her first birthday (June 3rd). I think it is the most precious thing Stella has worn to date!!! Thanks so much Peggy!

Boy Joy
Sam has been such a sweet little baby! I can't get enough of him!!! Of course we are getting used to the no-sleep thing again, but he is well worth it!! Stella is adjusting really well too! She loves to sign "baby", and hug, kiss, and pat her baby brother. It's pretty stinkin adorable!!

Sam Charles Little
Friends and Family,Sam Charles Little joined us May 19th at 3:29 PM - 8 lbs 3 oz, and 20.5 inches long, with a full head of dark brown hair. He was pretty eager to get out - Dr. Schieffer barely made it into the room in time.
Sam is healthy, Stella is bewildered, and Mom is feeling and looking fantastic; hard to believe she just had a baby!
After a few days, here's what we know about him:
- He's calm and loves to sleep (so far)
- He looks a lot like his big sis did when she was born
- He has really long fingers and toes
- He's very loved

Tick Tock
Sam (yes, we have decided on a name!!!) should be here any time now...Dr. Schieffer says I am almost 4cm dilated, and 80-90% effaced. WOW! Can't wait to meet our little boy!

Mother's Day
For my first official Mother's Day, we went to brunch at Chez Zee. My pregnant belly loved it!! Stella was inducted in to the baby scene, by Doodlebug the Clown, by way of arm-painting. She promptly smeared the lavender flower in to a sparkly blur, then wore her mark proudly, and obliviously :)

Daddy's Baby Girl
You should see how excited Stella gets when her daddy walks through the door!! When he picks her up, she immediately starts pointing to random objects in the room so he can carry her to examine them. She has her daddy's curiosity and love for technology. Stella knows the way to her daddy's heart!
