Most every night we go on a family walk after dinner. It's such a fun routine and Stella and Sam LOVE it. We have certain pit stops along the way, and Stella guides us from one familiar thing to the next...
1.)Choosing a direction...always to the right though
2.)The cats on the front porch. One is great. Two is the BEST. None is a bummer.
3.)Searching for "burn beans" (the highlight of the whole adventure. little, solid, red beans that get hot when you rub them on the sidewalk)
*This is the part where Sam gets out of the wagon and walks the rest of the way.
4.)Talking to neighbors here and there (you get to know a lot of friendly faces)
5.)Picking up a flyer from the house for sale. According to Stella, "Mommy too little" to hold it, so she does the honor.
6.)Dogs
7.)More Dogs
8.)The fire hydrant. Stella never fails to point out the bird poop on this corner lot landmark.
9.)The Garage keypad. Stella HAS to push the last button or it cancels out all of the fun we had on our family walk.
